Very nice. My daughter always had the “regular” cheaper dance shoes. I won’t mention the brand. But she’s older now and it was time to get her higher quality taps shoes. The lining is awesome. The upper is stretching slightly to fit her foot. The sound is much nicer. And the action is good. I don’t tap dance so I don’t know the correct term. But they tap well. She loves them. We are happy with the purchase
