Returns + Exchanges
Online returns
Eligible merchandise may be returned within 60 days of the purchase date when it is unworn, unwashed and unused; in new, sellable condition; in its original packaging or box; and has all original tags attached.
Every mailed return must be authorized through the Return Portal before it is sent. Unauthorized returns are not accepted. All returns must be sent in either a bag mailer or separate shipping box. Use a trackable shipping method because Dancewear Centre is not responsible for parcels lost in return transit.
Items returned after 60 days of purchase, in unsellable used condition, or missing any of the original packaging will not be accepted. These items will be disposed of or returned at the customer's expense.
Return portal how to
Follow the instructions in our return portal to receive your return authorization in just three easy steps:
+ Enter your order number and email below to begin your return request
+ Select the items you would like to return and the reason for the return
+ Select the return shipping method and click confirm
Upon approval, you will receive an email in 1-2 business days with information on how to complete your return. Approved Canadian bound returns are eligible for a $10 prepaid return label. You can also choose a different return method of your preference, at your own cost.
Canadian $10 prepaid return labels
Approved returns sent from within Canada may use a $10 CAD prepaid return label. The label cost is deducted from the refund. The fee may be waived when Dancewear Centre confirms an incorrect shipment or defective product. Customers may instead use another trackable return method at their own cost.
International returns and Rac n Roll dance bags are not eligible for the $10 CAD prepaid label.
Online exchanges
Online exchanges are not available through the Return Portal. Return the eligible item for a refund and place a new order for the preferred size, colour or product.
Online purchases may also be returned or exchanged at our Toronto store.
Return Eligibility
- Tights, socks, body-care products and makeup must be unopened and unused.
- Underwear, dance belts, earrings, ballet barres, special orders and products identified as final sale are not returnable.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless Dancewear Centre confirms a shipping error or defective product.
In Store Returns + Exchanges
Eligible purchases may be returned or exchanged in-store within 60 days of the purchase date with the original receipt. All items must be unworn, unwashed and unused; in new, sellable condition; in its original packaging or box; and has all original tags attached.
Promotional discounts are only valid during the duration of a sale. Exchanges made after the duration of a sale will not be provided the promotional discount.
Refund processing
After an approved return reaches our shipping department, allow up to three business days for inspection and processing. Refunds are issued to the original payment method, and we will email you when the refund has been processed. Your financial institution may require additional time to post the credit to your account.
