Our Store Location

  1. Do you have a store location? Yes we have a store location. For more information on our stores please see our Store Locations.
  2. How do I get to your store? Find directions from your current location on our Store Locations page by clicking on View Larger Map, select the directions button in the top left corner, and type in your address.
  3. What are the store’s opening hours? Find each store’s hours of operations on the Store Locations page.
  4. Is there parking at your store? Yes, we have free parking at our Toronto Dancewear Centre location at the back of the building.
  5. What forms of payment are accepted in store? We accept VISA, MasterCard, Debit, and cash payments.
  6. What is your store’s return and exchange policy? We accept in store returns after 14 days after purchase and exchanges 30 days after purchase. All returns and exchanges must be accompanied with your original receipt and all items need to be in their original condition and packaging.   7. What items are eligible for returns and exchanges? All items are eligible to be returned or exchanged aside from tights, undergarments, makeup, and sale items.
  8. Are the prices shown online the same as in your stores? Yes, prices online and in our store locations are the same.

Online Ordering & Checkout

  1. Can I order items that are not found on dancewearcentre.com? Yes, we are able to order in any style, colour, and width that you need from any of our suppliers. There is no extra cost to do so. Please contact us and we will be happy to help.
  2. How do I know if an item is in stock? On the product page, once the colour, size and width of a product are selected, there will be a notification above the Add To Cart button which will let you know how many of that item are currently in stock.
  3. Can I order an item that is not in stock? Products that are our of stock are unable to be purchased.  Once a size and colour are selected on an out of stock item, a notify me email will appear where you can receive an automated email as soon as your product is back in stock.  Items that do not have a notify me email means that these items are discontinued and are not able to be reordered.
  4. What currency is dancewearcentre.com priced in? All of our prices are in Canadian dollars.
  5. What forms of payment are accepted online? We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express.
  6. Is your website secure and safe? Yes, dancewearcentre.com is encrypted with the latest web technologies and is certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant.
  7. Will there be taxed charged on my order? Taxes will be charged in accordance with the shipping location and will be charged at the rate of that Province. Shipments sent outside of Canada will not be charged tax.
  8. Can I change my order after it has been placed? If you need to change an order once placed, please let us know as quickly as possible. We will be more than happy to make changes you your order before we have shipped it. Once your order has shipped we will not be able to make any changes.
  9. Do you have sizing charts? Yes, each product page will have a Sizing Guide tab that will have sizing recommendations for that product. Sizing does vary and these recommendations are to be used as a guide only. If you have further concerns on sizing, please email us.

Online Shipping

  1. Do you offer free shipping? Yes, orders over $150 before tax that are shipping within Canada ship free via Canada Post Expedited service.  Find information on certain restrictions here.
  2. When will my order ship? Orders ship out during the week from Tuesday – Friday. Orders placed by noon will likely ship out the same day, while orders placed later in the day will ship the following shipping day.
  3. What are the shipping options? You have the option of choosing real time shipping quotes from Canada Post and FedEx.
  4. How much does shipping cost? Shipping cost will vary depending on what is being shipped and where the shipment is going. Real time shipping quotes from Canada Post and FedEx will be provided during checkout that will show the shipping cost and estimated shipping times.
  5. How long will it take for my order to arrive? Shipment times will vary depending on where the shipment is going and the shipping option chosen during checkout. Real time shipping quotes from Canada Post and FedEx will be provided during checkout that will show the estimated shipping times of your order. Please keep in mind that these times are the estimates for once your order has shipped from our warehouse and does not include the usual one business day to pack and process your order.
  6. How will I know when my order has shipped? You will receive an email as soon as your order has shipped which will include the tracking number of your package. If you do not receive this email please contact us.
  7. Can I pick up my online order in store? Yes, we are happy to provide free in store pickup on any order from our Toronto store location. You will receive an email once your order has been pulled and ready for pick up. Please schedule to pick up your order within two weeks of being notified.
  8. How can I track my shipment? Once your order has been shipped you will receive an email notification which will include your shipment’s tracking number. If you have made an account with dancewearcentre.com you can also log in and view your recent order information to retrieve your order’s tracking number as well.
  9. Do you ship internationally? Yes, dancewearcentre.com ships worldwide via Canada Post and FedEx.
  10. Will there be duties charged on my order?Any shipment sent outside of Canada may be subject to your country's duties and taxes. These charges are separate from your transaction with Dancewear Centre and you will be responsible for all associating fees.

Online Returns, Exchanges, and Order Cancellations

  1. What is your online return policy? We accept in online returns and exchanges within 30 days after purchase. All returns and exchanges must be accompanied with your original receipt and all items need to be in their original condition and packaging.   2. What items are eligible for returns and exchanges? All items are eligible to be returned or exchanged aside from tights, undergarments, makeup, and sale items.
  3. Do I have to pay the return shipping? Yes, Dancewear Centre will not cover the return shipping cost unless the item is defective or if there was a shipping error.
  4. What do I do when returning or exchanging an item? Please send the items back with a copy of your receipt stating whether you would like to return the items for a refund or if you would like to make an exchange. Returns will be credited back to the original card used to place your order. For exchanges, please write on the receipt what you style, color and size you would like to exchange for.  Once our shipping department receives your exchange, you will be notified if there is any difference in price for the exchanged items. Your exchange will ship from our warehouse free of charge via Canada Post Expedited Parcel for Canadian bound exchanges only.  Exchanges for international orders will be charged for the return postage.
  5. How do I cancel my order? If you wish to change your order please email us immediately. We will make every effort to make the proper alterations to your order. If your order has already been shipped it cannot be cancelled or changed. In this case you will need to follow the return policy instructions to return your items.
  6. How quickly will I get a refund? As soon as we receive your return in the mail we will credit back the credit card from your initial purchase. You will receive an email once the refund has been issued to your card. Please allow a few business days for the refund to appear on your credit card statement.
  7. How quickly will I receive my exchange? As soon as we receive your exchange in the mail we will ship out your exchanged item in approximately one business day. You will receive an email with a new tracking number once your exchange has shipped. Arrival times will vary depending on where the shipment is going and the shipping option chosen.
