Lots of ribbon so you will never be short

Really loose elastic
The elastic stretches so much it really doesn’t hold my pointe shoes in place. Tried tightening it twice by shortening it. Ended up taking it off and using elastics from another pair. Ribbons adequate but not generous. One side goes around my ankle on less time.
