Decent fit. Wished they were more durable/indestructible
We purchased 1 size up because my 6-year old's height was fine for the next size and her weight was in between sizes. They are comfortable and easy to "convert" between classes. They seem pretty thick and survived being tossed in our top-loader washing machine without being in a garment bag (oops). I just wished they were more durable enough to withstand my very dry "Scrub-brush" hands or the occasions when my daughter rolls onto the velcro of her floor mats. We are likely only getting 5 to 6 classes (10 hours of dance) with each pair.
