I bought these due to the wide soles under the balls of the feet. I thought the wide soles would assist with stability on demi-pointe. While the shoes fit great and hug the feet in a flattering way, the lack of ability to tighten them by drawstring makes them twist on my foot when turning and require frequent readjustment. I am going back to a more traditional split sole shoe for my next pair.
