I love my old Bloch slip-on elastic gore jazz shoes so I thought I would give these a try. They are more expensive, so I was expecting an improvement on an already great product ie. the ultimate jazz shoe! What a disappointment. The pleating under the metatarsal area results in a bumpy wad that presses up into a very sensitive part of the foot when on demi-pointe. I can't imagine what my foot would feel like after wearing these for several hours. A big thumbs down.
